Partners and licensing
His name is an inheritance, not a shortcut
Every use of the name, the signature and the likeness is approved deliberately, one product at a time.
The rights
Who holds them
The rights to Duke Kahanamoku’s name and likeness are held by Mālama Pono, Inc. Licensed partners carry the name under written agreements, and each product is reviewed and approved before it carries his name.
The standard is simple to state. Made well, priced honestly, and carried with dignity. No tourist-bin goods, no discount channels, no mass licensing.
